I had a bad experience with getting flowers delivered to a coworker on 7/1/16. I had ordered them online and put in my coworkers address and phone number. On the day of the delivery I called at around noon to make sure the flowers were being delivered. I was told that they were not delivered yet and that they were getting around to it. They also said they had stopped by her house and she wasn't there. I called my coworker (even though I wanted the flowers to be a surprise) and she said no one had stopped by. I called Dot's back and said that she was home and said no one had stopped by. I asked them to call her and verified the phone number. I texted my coworker at around 3pm and the flowers had still not been delivered. I called Dot's again and they said that they have been calling her all day and she isn't answering. I called my coworker (again) and she said she had not received any calls. I called Dot's back and told them what I heard from my coworker. The woman I was talking to (I am assuming it was Dot) seemed frustrated with me and was very short. There was a man in the background who said that he had tried delivering them and that the woman wasn't home. I then called my coworker and apologized about all of this. She again stated no one had been to her home. (She was wanting to leave to go camping but was waiting for the flowers) I asked my coworker to call Dot's and ask about the flowers, which she did. They said that they were hoping to get delivered soon. They were finally delivered at about 4:30pm and the delivery man told my coworker that it was my fault and that I had given them the wrong address. When I heard this I double checked my order form and I had not given them the wrong address. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I wish Dot's would have just apologized and said that they were busy that day and that the flowers would be late. Instead they were delivering to the wrong house and never called my coworker to try and facilitate the delivery. The only reason I did give 2 stars for this review is that the flowers were beautiful. That does not make up for the fact that I had to practically deliver the flowers myself to get them to my coworker AND that my coworker was frustrated with the process instead of just being happy and surprised about the flowers.
